Our adventure in Dublin started on 27th February. Excited, nervous, happy and expected some of the students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade of ESO and four teachers flew to Dublin.

Once there, we met the families that hosted us.

We joined early in the morning every day to go sightseeing. We visited the Trinity College, the city centre, the medieval city, Saint Stephen’s Green, Malahide Castle, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, The Temple Bar and so on.

We saw some interesting monuments like Molly Malone statue and Famine Memorial.

We crossed the river Fiffey so many times by its numerous bridges!

In the afternoons, we went to the National College of Ireland, where the students attended lively and active English lessons focussed on speaking games.

After the classes it was shopping time in Henry or Grafton streets.

The weather was so Irish: sunny in the morning and windy and rainy in the afternoon.

In the evenings we went home and had dinner with our hosting families. They were all so nice and kind and cooked typical Irish dishes for us.

A special evening was when we all went to the bowling and had a fantastic party there.

Our adventure lasted 5 days and it meant a great experience: we learned a lot of English and so many other things like respect, friendship, politeness, culture and responsibility.
